When using cable trays for indoor wiring, the cables should not have an outer protective layer made of jute or other flammable materials.

When using cable trays for wiring in damp or corrosion-resistant places, corresponding protective measures should be taken according to different situations, and plastic sheathed cables should be selected.

When installing cable trays, the height above the ground should generally not be less than 2.50m. When installed vertically, the part below 1.80m above the ground should be protected with a metal cover plate, except when laid in electrical dedicated rooms (such as distribution rooms, electrical shafts, technical floors, etc.).

When installing cable trays horizontally, it is advisable to select a span for support according to the load curve, which is generally 1.5-3m. When laying vertically, the spacing between fixing points should not exceed 2m.

When several sets of cable trays are installed in parallel at the same height, maintenance and repair distances should be considered between adjacent cable trays.

Cables can be laid without distance on cable trays, and the filling rate of the cross-section of the cable in the tray should not exceed 40% for power cables; The control cable should not exceed 50%.

The following cables with different voltages and purposes should not be laid on the same layer of cable tray.
